My version of Halloween

So while Linze decided to depict the "cute" side of Halloween in the last few photos, I decided to share the darker side of this wonderful holiday. This is pics before our party on Friday night. Enjoy!!!! Aly is "Aunt Bea" and Camille is a vampire.

DaVinci of Pumpkin Carving!

Here is a lowdown of how pumpkin carving went in our house this year:

1. Jadyn ripped our pumpkin patterns
2. Jadyn got mad that we wouldn't let her use the "poker" or the "saw"
3. Jadyn hated the inside of the pumpkin and would not go near it
4. Jadyn went to bed and Mom & Dad finally were able to carve in peace!

Stuffed full of sugar!

Well, the Trunk-or-Treat was a hit. Despite practicing saying "Trick or Treat" with Jadyn the week before, Jadyn would not say it at any of the "trunks". She was fascinated by all the costumes and decorations. Psst....Mommy has been eating most of her candy!

Preview of our little girl all dressed up!

Thankfully, Jadyn loves her Nemo costume this year and wants to put it on instead of screaming like last year. We have a Trunk-o-Treat at the church on Saturday. I will post more pictures then!

Let the voting begin!

I need input on what people want to eat on Thanksgiving. Some don't really like the green punch and others are eating more healthy. Let me know what I need to plan. Orange jello? Cheeseball? Frozen salad? Green punch?

Day at Trafalga!

This is what we do on our day off!

1....2....3!

Thanksgiving!!!

Well I am sure you have all heard from mom by now....but it is official. We are all going home for thanksgiving. So, that means we need to plan the family picture. Linze and I both want to wear black sweaters or tops on top and jeans on bottom. That would look classy outside and slimming (for me). So, think about it. I am willing to provide black shirts (mom- I have a full closet, boys- I could arrange something/buy some). Yeah for a crammed house of wonderful people! Love you all,
Megs

Sick!

"I cannot go to school today said little Peggy Ann McKay. I have the measles and the mumps, a gash, a rash, and purple bumps..." Name this poet!
Ok, so instead of calling people..aka mom...here is the update. I am still sick to the point where I don't have a voice. Hence the writing. Wish me luck this week. It is hard enough teaching...but I also have Parent Teacher Conferences and a district math training (that is supposed to be with a partner, but long story I am by myself). I am at a loss of what to do. So, just pray for me. Corney, I know. But that is all I've got!
