Hello Everyone

I've been busy this semester with projects and work and haven't been on here much. I am posting to let everyone know that my hard work here has at least got me somewhere. My group for one of my classes has been developing a program for the new android phones coming out in July(ish). Our TA nominated us for the Michael S. Hughes Software Engineering Award <http://www.cs.uiuc.edu/awards/awards.php? name=hughes> . (the link is dead, I think if you copy it into the Navigation bar it works)

I'm kinda excited about this. I'm not sure how many groups get nominated, but I have a meeting with my professor on Saturday and will know more.

We don't want a Jane Doe!



Now that we know that we are having another little girl, it is time to give her a name. Vote for the name you like best in the right column. Now, you are welcome to not like any of them, but you must suggest an alternative. We realize that our tastes are a little "out there" for most people. But hey, that is the joy of being a parent....we get to pick!

Easter Duds



Jadyn had to visit the Easter Bunny inside the library this year because we had a foot of snow. Surprisingly, she was not scared of the Easter Bunny and kept patting him. I guess he is less intimidating than Santa Claus.


Jadyn loved having Namme JuJu visit her. Namme brought her lots of fun things in her Easter basket. Jadyn loved having one of us hide plastic eggs around the house for her to find over and over. She is not old enough to realize she was getting a bum deal because the plastic eggs were empty except for the first time!

Isn't she too young for this?!!

Jadyn just started a lovely thing this week. Asking why. It mostly happens when she doesn't want to do something so she asks me why. Kind of cute...but starting to get annoying already! After answering about 5 whys in a row, I tell her that is enough "whys" for now. It has been working so far!

We are having a....


Well, we had our ultrasound this morning. I wore a green shirt (as opposed to wearing pink with Jadyn) because I did not have a strong feeling on the gender.

We were happy to hear that the baby looks healthy. At first, the baby did not want to "show the goods", but then we got a good shot. Sorry the picture quality is not that great. I took a digital picture of our ultrasound picture prints.

Can you tell the gender? We knew right away when we saw this shot! If you are not an expert ultrasound scan reader, look at the comments for the answer.

Jadyn is starting to enjoy singing more. Here she is singing "I'm so glad when Daddy comes home". I love where she says, "What?". So cute! She is so much fun.

The 2 Things That Everyone Wants to See




Mom has been asking me for quite some time to post a picture of the Rexburg Temple, so the first picture is from my doorstep, and the next one is up by the parking lot. The third picture, as you can see, is not of the Temple. It is what happened to my car on Saturday night.
